In Person Exams

Thanks for your interest in our upcoming testing session. The session will happen before the Lake Conroe Amateur Radio Club’s usual meeting. Testing will begin at 6:00 pm. You are welcome to stay for the club meeting.

Inside The Woodlands Emergency Training Center; 16135 Interstate 45 S; Conroe, TX 77385

Please bring the following to the exam:

• The examination fee (now $15.00) in correct change
• You may take the exam on paper or bring your own device with Internet
• A photo identification
• FCC Registration Number (FRN); if you do not have an FRN, please visit the FCC website to obtain an FRN before the test session (https://apps.fcc.gov/cores/userLogin.do?)
• Calculators may be used; however, the examiners will erase the memory before the exam begins
• If you are upgrading, bring a copy of your current license and/or your CSCEs
