North County Branch Library

All applicants must pre-register and obtain an FRN number from the FCC before taking an exam.

All applicants must have a valid e-mail address.

We begin testing at 6:30 pm, but if you are a little early, we'll start the check-in process.

The testing will be held in the Main Meeting Room of the Hunterdon County North County Branch Library, 65 Halstead Street, Clinton, NJ 08809.

The test fee is $12.00, cash only please. If you pass, you will be given an opportunity to take the next higher level license exam at no charge for the first attempt.

If you have a WiFi enabled laptop, please bring it. We have a limited number of club laptops available. The testing and grading is immediate after you review your answers and request to grade your exam. Use of browsers during the test is not permitted. Calculations must be performed on paper with a calculator. If you bring your calculator, a proctor will ask you to clear the memory before you take the test. No cell phone permitted at your exam desk.
