This is a reminder of your amatuer radio license exam at the Cumberland County Department of Public Safety, 1 Public Safety Drive, Carlisle, PA, 17013. The test session begins at 6PM, please arrive 15 minutes early. When you arrive, enter the CCDPS (Cumberland County Department of Public Safety) building. Straight in, there is a waiting area, myself, or one of our testing team will be there to review with you the testing process. We require a government issued photo ID, i.e., drivers license, passport, school ID, etc., to prove you are the person who registered for the exam. There also is a $14 testing fee. Our exams are 100% digital. You will be testing using a tablet that we will set up for the process. As soon as you are done with the test, you will imeaditly know if you have passed/failed. Later in the evening the paper work will be processed (if you have passed) you will recieve a “Certificate of Successful Completion of Examination), (CSCE) by email verifying that you have passed the exam. Your test, and your paperwork will be entered into the FCC data base, the FCC will use your email address to communicate to you about your license. It may take take several days for the FCC to send (you) the applicant an email to the email address you provided when you applied foryourFRN number, with instructions for "New" applicants to log into the “FCC Pay Fees site” and pay the $35 FCC Application Fee.
